2024 UPDATE FIX + 1080P HQ CAPTURE

here is a new high quality 1080p capture of corrosion pc demo from 2001, significantly upgrading previous versions available on youtube, including our own uploads from 2017 and 2008.

you can run our demo in almost any resolution, using undocumented options to the main demo.exe, with examples provided by two scripts included in the updated archive of the demo that you can download from here https://www.kosmoplovci.net/files/corrosion_-_killerclouds_2024_fix_update.zip

check the included run-1080p-fs.bat and run-720p-fs.bat scripts and adapt to your needs.

options are:
killerclouds.exe WIDTH HEIGHT BITDEPTH SCREEN/WINDOW
for example, "killerclouds.exe 1920 1080 32 screen" will run the demo in 1920x1080 32bit fullscreen

if you have old release archive, you will notice that existing killerclouds.exe doesnt work, so we kept it in updated archive as well but renamed it to killerclouds_gui.exe. that is because it uses some library that install with office, i dont really know which one. in order to make demo work you just need to copy demo.exe from 1d folder to the root of the demo folder. you can optionaly rename it, like we did in our example and updated archive. if run without parameters, demo.exe will run in 640x480 32bit fullscreen

it doesnt require much resources and will run on almost any computer with any gfxcard.

to run this demo you need:
  windows9x
  directx8
  direct3d capable graphics card [tested on geforce256 and geforce2mx]
  soundcard

  demo should work fine on geforce256 or better gfxcard with 32mb of
video memory. for optimal performance your system should provide at
least 633mhz cpu and geforce2mx gfxcard.  if the demo runs too slow
on your machine try the "reduce textures" option which will reduce
all textures to 256x256 and should make the demo work better on older
cards with less memory and rendering power.
